Prepare yourself for some serious statement styling here at one of my favourite local wedding venues, The White Barn in Somerset. On site wedding stylist, Bethan Amy Weddings designed this entire concept based on the ancient Greek love story of Orpheus and Eurydice. Working alongside onsite floral, Frogmary Flowers which sources its flowers from the farm where it is located, this collaboration is nothing short of a dream.
Photographed so beautifully by Tom Durn Photography, it was a pleasure to have been asked to play a small part by designing custom silks for this shoot. The brief was earthy-green, luxe tones and I had the most fun experimenting with new hues of previously created greens and mosses. I called upon my favourite natural green pigment, Chlorophyll to create some of these luscious tones as well as modifying yellows with natural rust to sadden hues from yellow to earthy sage greens.
